V1 vs V2 — The Key Difference

Simple rule: Registered before 2017 = V1. Registered 2017 or newer = V2.

My BMW is a 2017 model — V1 or V2?
Depends on the chassis. 2017 F30/F10 = V1. 2017+ G-series = V2. Check your chassis code.
Will V1 fit my F40?
No. V1 is cut for pre-2017 badge geometry. Order V2 for F40.
Do I need to remove the badge?
