We are mapping every BMW ever made. This is a hunt now.

Somewhere in Munich there is presumably a filing cabinet containing the exact dimensions of every roundel BMW has ever bolted to a car. They have never shown it to us. So we are building our own map — one measured badge at a time — and we have organised it the way all serious cartography should be organised: as a hunt, with a board, and a reward.

Below are 87 squares. Each one is a BMW chassis. Each one starts OPEN. A verified submission closes its square. When every square on the board reads MAPPED, the map is complete and the programme ends. That is the only cap — not a date, not a countdown. The map itself.

The ask

One plastic school ruler. The 15cm kind that lives at the bottom of a drawer and has survived three house moves. Not a tape measure — a tape flexes, curls, and lies at the edges. A ruler is rigid, universal, and photographs clean. If you own a tape and no ruler, buy the ruler; it costs less than a first-class stamp.

Your roundel is divided into four quadrants by thin silver lines. Our overlays cover the quadrants, nothing else — so the only measurement we want is the quadrant leg: from the dead centre of the badge to the outer edge of the colour. Stop where the colour stops, not where the silver trim stops. The silver divider lines do not count. Colour only.

  1. Hold the ruler flat against the badge so it runs through the centre.
  2. Photograph each quadrant with the ruler in frame, close enough that we can read the millimetre marks. Four quadrants, four photos, every badge.
  3. Repeat for every badge on the car — bonnet, boot, wheel centres. More badges, better map.
  4. Then step back and take eight photos of the car: front, rear, both sides, both front three-quarters, and two of your choosing. This is the confirmation set — it proves the badge belongs to the chassis you say it does.

Your car photos will contain your number plate. That is expected. We blur every plate ourselves before anything is published anywhere — see the terms, which are short.

The checklist

Every submission starts with one of two sentences. Pick yours:

  • "I have this model." Go and get the ruler. You know which drawer it is in.
  • "A friend has one." Congratulations, you are now a scout. Send them this page — or turn up with the ruler yourself; measuring a badge is a two-person job in the same way that looking under a bonnet is. Tell us who scouted the square. We keep score.

The reward

A verified submission earns a personal 28% code — the largest discount we have ever issued. We checked the entire ledger; nothing has come within eleven points of it. The code arrives by email, is yours alone, and works once. It does not stack with anything, because at 28% there is nothing left to stack.

How to submit

  • Email support@superwrappz.co.uk.
  • State your chassis (e.g. E46, F30, G20), the year, and which sentence you picked — "I have this model" or "a friend has one".
  • Attach the quadrant photos (ruler in frame) and the eight confirmation photos.
  • One submission per car. Your neighbour's E46 is your neighbour's submission — unless you scouted it, in which case say so.

The terms, kept short

  • Submitting photos grants SuperWrappz the right to use them as customer content in our marketing.
  • Number plates are blurred by us before anything is published. Every plate, every time.
  • Your code is personal, non-transferable, and valid once.
  • One closure per chassis square — the first verified submission closes it. The board above is the record.
  • The programme is bound to map completion: when all 87 squares read MAPPED, it ends.
  • Compatible with BMW — Not Genuine BMW Parts.
